At a certain point in my life, I decided to try to live by G-d's Spiritual Laws, instead of Man's Religious Tradition??
There came a point after much Bible study that I had to ask myself this: Since every matter is Established by 2-3 Witnesses, What do the Witnesses of the Scriptures say about living by the Law of G-d, and about replacing it with tradition?
Paul delighted in G-d’s Law, just as King David did. He desired to serve the Law of G-d
Rom 7:22 For I delight in the law of God after the inward man:
Rom 7:23 But I see another law in my members, warring against the law of my mind, and bringing me into captivity to the law of sin which is in my members.
Rom 7:24 O wretched man that I am! who shall deliver me from the body of this death?
Rom 7:25 I thank God through Jesus Christ our Lord. So then with the mind I myself serve the law of God; but with the flesh the law of sin. "
King David, a man after G-d’s own heart, Loved G-d’s Law
Psa 119:47 I shall delight in Your commandments, Which I love.
Peter warned however that many would believe that Paul did away with the Law, and Peter warned about this:
2nd Peter 3:14-16
Therefore, beloved, since you are waiting for these, be diligent to be found by him without spot or blemish, and at peace. 15And count the patience of our Lord as salvation, just as our beloved brother Paul also wrote to you according to the wisdom given him, 16as he does in all his letters when he speaks in them of these matters. There are some things in them that are hard to understand, which the ignorant and unstable twist to their own destruction,as they do the other Scriptures. 17You therefore, beloved, knowing this beforehand, take care that you are not carried away with the ERROR of LAWLESS people and lose your own stability. 18But grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.To him be the glory both now and to the day of eternity. Amen.
Paul warned about the teachers of LAWLESSNESS
2 Thessalonians 2:3 (Whole Chapter)
Let no one deceive you in any way. For that day will not come,] unless the rebellion comes first, and the man of lawlessness is revealedthe son of destruction,
2nd Corinthians 6:14 “What fellowship can light have with darkness? What fellowship can Christ have with Baal? What fellowship can Righteousness have with LAWLESSNESS?
Daniel also said that Lawless teaching is from the ANTI (Replacement)-Christ
Daniel 7:25:
25 He will defy the Most High and oppress the holy people of the Most High. He will try to change the sacred festivals and Laws of G-d, and they will be placed under his control for a time, times, and half a time.
Isaiah warned that if someone spoke contrary to the Torah and the Prophets then their message is not G-d’s message.
Isaiah 8:20 To the Law and to the testimony: if they speak not according to this word, it is because there is no light in them.
Jesus said the same in the Gospels:
”If they hear not Moses and the prophets, neither will they be persuaded, though one rose from the dead”
John said that sin is breaking G-d’s Law
1st John 3:4 “Sin is Lawlessness, in fact, anyone who breaks the Law (Torah) of G-d, Sins”
Paul said that Faith upholds the Law, instead of telling you to break it.
Romans 3:31:
31Do we then overthrow the law by this faith? By no means! On the contrary, we uphold the Law.
G-d said He will make His Law honorable, the exact opposite of doing away with it.
Isa 42:21 The LORD is well pleased for His righteousness' sake; He will exalt the Law (Torah) and make it honorable.
He also said that the Flesh is Hostile to G-d’ Law but the Spirit is not:
Romans 8:6-8 "For to be carnally minded is death, but to be spiritually minded is life and peace. Because the carnal mind is enmity against God, for it is not subject to the Law (Torah) of God, neither can be. So then they that are in the flesh cannot please God."
John the Revelator warned that Satan is also hostile to believers who keep G-d’s Law
Revelation 12:17 And the dragon was wroth with the woman, and went to make war with the remnant of her seed, which keep the commandments of God, and have the testimony of Y'shua
Hosea warns preachers about rejecting G-d’s Law
Hosea 4:6 My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge. Because you have rejected knowledge, I also will reject you from being priest for Me; Because you have forgotten the law of your God, I also will forget your children. "
Jesus does,
Matthew 7:23 "And then I will say to them, I Never Knew You, Depart from me, you that practice Lawlessness.""
Isaiah does as well
"Isa 9:16 For the leaders of this people cause [them] to err, And [those who are] led by them are destroyed.
"Isa. 1:11-19 is the same as Psalm 28:9 "He that turn away his ear from hearing the Law, even his prayer is an ABOMINATION.
Jesus warned about failing to teach the Least of the Commands of G-d and promised a Blessing for those who keep and teach them:
Matthew 5:17-19
“He who keeps the least of the Commands and teaches other s to do likewise will be called Greatest in the Kingdom of Heaven however, He who fails to keep the least of the Commands and teaches others to do
likewise will be called LEAST in the Kingdom of Heaven”
Elohim shall make His elected kings and priests in His kingdom (Rev 1:6; Rev 5:10).
They shall reign with Him a thousand year as kings and priests (Rev. 20:6)
Some of his people will have authority over 10 cities and some over 5 cities (Luk 19:17-19).
(Were not the Kings the ones who enforced the Law of G-d? Were not the Priests the ones who separated clean from unclean?)
He repeats this again in Revelations
Rev 22:14 "Blessed are those who do His commandments, that they may have the right to the tree of life, and may enter through the gates into Life"
Jeremiah tells us that in the last days, the Gentiles will turn from their traditions and return to G-d’s Law:
Jeremiah 16:19 O LORD, my strength, and my fortress, and my refuge in the day of affliction, the Gentiles shall come unto thee from the ends of the earth, and shall say, Surely our fathers have inherited lies, vanity, and things wherein there is no profit.
Peter also warned about obeying men and their traditions instead of G-d
Act 5:29 And Kepha and the other emissaries answering, said, “We have to obey Elohim rather than men.
Paul said that G-d’s Law is HOLY, RIGHTEOUS, and GOOD, useful for instruction in ALL THINGS.

11For sin, taking occasion by the commandment, deceived me, and by it slew me.
12Wherefore the law is holy, and the commandment holy, and just, and good.
13Was then that which is good made death unto me? God forbid. But sin, that it might appear sin, working death in me by that which is good; that sin by the commandment might become exceeding sinful.
The DOERS of the Word will be declared Righteous, not just the hearers.
Rom 2:13 For not the hearers of the Torah are righteous in the sight of Elohim, but the doers of the law1 shall be declared right.
According to Jesus, we are not to set aside G-d’s Commands in order to justify mere Church traditions.
Mar 7:7 And in vain do they worship Me, teaching as teachings the commands of men.’1 Footnote: 1See Isa. 29:13, 2 Ki. 17:19, and Mt. 15:3-9.
Mar 7:8 “Forsaking the command of Elohim, you hold fast the tradition of men.”
Mar 7:9 And He said to them, “Well do you set aside the command of Elohim, in order to guard your tradition.
Mar 7:13 nullifying the Word of Elohim through your tradition which you have handed down. And many such traditions you do.” "
We are also not to do away with G-d’s Commands in order to adopt pagan customs used to worship demons
"Deuteronomy 12:30-32 "Be watchful that you are not ensnared into following them after they have been destroyed before you and that you do not inquire after their gods? We will do likewise. You shall not do so to Yahweh your Elohim, for every Abominable thing which Yahweh hates they have done for their gods. For even their sons and their daughters they have burn in the fire to their gods. Whatever I command you, be watchful to do it, you shall not add to it or diminish it."
G-d said that His Commands are not burdensome:
Deu 30:10-14 ...if you obey YHVH your Elohim to keep His commandments and His statutes which are written in this book of the law (Torah), if you turn to YHVH your Elohim with all your heart and soul. "For this commandment which I command you today is not too difficult for you, nor is it out of reach. It is not in heaven, that you should say, 'Who will go up to heaven for us to get it for us and make us hear it, that we may observe it?' Nor is it beyond the sea, that you should say, "Who will cross the sea for us to get it for us and make us hear it, that we may observe it?' But the word is very near you, in your mouth and in your heart, that you may observe it.
G-d said His commands are to be kept FOREVER
Psalm 111:7-10 - The works of his hands are verity and judgment; all his commandments are sure. They stand FAST FOREVER AND EVER, and are done in truth and uprightness. He sent redemption unto his people: he hath commanded his COVENANT FOREVER: holy and reverend is his name. The fear of YaHWeH is the beginning of wisdom: a good understanding have all they that do his commandments: his praise endureth forever. "
He also said that His Commands are for the Jew and the Gentile
Exodus 12:49 One law shall be to him that is homeborn, and unto the stranger that sojourneth among you.
Jesus said that if we love G-d, we will keep His Commands
1 John 5:3 For this is the love of Elohim, that we keep His commandments; and His commandments are not burdensome.
G-d said we are not to add to or take away from His Law.
Deuteronomy 4:2 Do not add to what I command you and do not subtract from it, but keep the commands of the LORD your God that I give you. (NIV)
Jesus is the Torah made Flesh
John 1:1-5
[1] In the beginning was the Torah, and the Torah was with God, and the Torah was from God.
[2] The Torah was in the beginning with God.
[3] All things were made through the Torah; and without the Torah was not any thing made that was made.
[4] In the Torah was life; and the life of the Torah was the light of men.
[5] And the Torah's light shineth in darkness; and the darkness comprehended it not.
The New (ReNewed Covenant) was G-d writing the same Commands on hearts, so that the people would keep the Commands
Ezekiel 11:19. "And I will give them one heart, and put a new spirit within them. And I will take the heart of stone out of their flesh and give them a heart of flesh,
20. that they may walk in My statutes and keep My ordinances and do them. Then they will be My people, and I shall be their God.
Jeremiah 31:31-33
"Behold, the days come, saith YHWH, that I will make a new covenant with the house of Israel, and with the house of Judah: Not according to the covenant that I made with their fathers in the day that I took them by the hand to bring them out of the land of Egypt; which my covenant they brake, although I was an husband unto them, saith YHWH: But this shall be the covenant that I will make with the house of Israel; After those days, saith YHWH, I will put my law in their inward parts, and write it in their hearts; and will be their G-d, and they shall be my people."
G-d said that we must worship in Spirit AND Truth.
John 4:23
But the hour cometh, and now is, when the true worshippers shall worship the Father in spirit and truth: for such doth the Father seek to be his worshippers.
John 4:24
God is a Spirit: and they that worship him must worship in spirit and truth.
And What is “TRUTH?”
Ps.119: 142. Your righteousness is an everlasting righteousness, and your Torah is the truth.
Christ spoke only as the Father directed Him, and the Father never contradicts Himself.
John 14:10 "Do you not believe that I am in the Father, and the Father is in Me? The words that I say to you I do not speak on My own initiative, but the Father abiding in Me does His works.
John 14:24
"He who does not love Me does not keep My words; and the word which you hear is not Mine, but the Father's who sent Me.
Luke 8:21 "....My mother and My brethren are these which Hear the Word of God, And Do It."
The Sabbaths and Holy Days will be kept in when Christ returns, not Easter and X-mas
Isaiah 66:23 "And it shall come to pass, that from on new moon to another (Feast Days), and from one Sabbath to another, shall all flesh come to worship before me, says Yahweh.""
The Gentile Corinthians were instructed by Paul to keep Passover and Unleavened Bread, not Easter and Lent.
1 Corinthians 5:7 (Whole Chapter)
Cleanse out the old leaven that you may be a new lump, as you really are unleavened. For Christ, our Passover lamb, has been sacrificed.
The Sabbath is the mark of G-d on His people (not Sunday)
Exodus 32 12-16
Isaiah 56 gives us an entire Chapter of G-d promising to bless Gentiles who keep His Sabbaths (not Sunday and pagan holidays)
Maybe we should follow the Scriptures instead of the Preachers!
